Apple Officially Acknowledges 1970 Date Bug That Can Brick Your iPhone, Promises Fix

Apple has officially acknowledged the 1970 date bug that we demonstrated last week and promised a software update to fix it.

Manually changing the date to May 1970 or earlier can prevent your iOS device from turning on after a restart.
