Refreshed 2015 MacBook Air and Pro models are now available on Amazon following their announcement at Apple’s Spring Forward event on March 9th. For the MacBook Air, there’s not much you can look forward to with this refresh over the last generation. Processor speeds and integrated graphics have been slightly improved, but everything else remains identical to previous versions. You can find the 11.6-inch model hereand the 13.3-inch model here. You’re basically getting a slightly improved machine at the same price as the previous generation.
With the MacBook Pro, Apple implemented similar internal hardware upgrades for the processor and graphics card, but there’s also a brand new trackpad which will also come along with the 2015 12-inch MacBook. The Force Touch trackpad brings along a lot of new features within OS X and will eventually be customizable via developer APIs. You can pickup various models of Apple’s 2015 13-inch MacBook Pro here.
